Vehicle Detail

Up for your bidding and viewing pleasure is a beautifully restored Numbers-Matching 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 390 S code with 4-speed manual transmission and 74k miles. This car was meticulously maintained by the original owner--all the service records were saved and put in a binder which comes with the car upon purchase. It appears to have been driven in South Carolina, Texas and North Carolina by the original owner, according to those service records. The second owner bought it down south and brought it to upstate New York and did a rotisserie restoration of the Mustang--there is a photo album documenting all the steps taken to complete the restoration. This car is absolutely stunning. When taken out of the garage for just minutes it attracts the attention of everyone who sees it. People come over and compliment the car and take pictures of it because they can't believe how nice it is. Overall I would rate it a 9 out of 10. The paint and rally stripes are practically flawless. Body lines are about how they would have been from the factory. Back when this car was made there were no computerized machines calculating measurements so they were not as perfect as today's cars. Factory options (as they appear on the original factory build sheet) are as follows: Mustang 2 plus 2 8 cylinder; 2-Door Mach I Hardtop 63C; 390 CID 4V 8 cylinder engine; Champagne Gold; White Knit Vinyl Hi-Back Bucket; 4-speed manual transmission-- wide ratio standard axle; 5 F70x14 Wide Oval Belted WSW Tires; Power Disc Brakes; Air conditioning-Selectaire; Radio AM & Stereosonic Tape System. One minor flaw of note is that the door pins or grommets between the hinges on the driver side door may need to be replaced because there is a little play when lifting up on the door. The passenger side door is solid with no play upon lifting, so I'd imagine any play in the driver's door is from normal use, opening and closing the door. The radio doesn't appear to be working. Upon turning the knob to turn on the radio, no sound comes out of the speakers, but the antenna is already up. Perhaps a wire is loose or disconnected. The interior is as impeccable as the body. The seats are in great shape, as is the headliner. The steering wheel has normal wear and tear, but is in good shape. Carpets are all brand new. This Mustang comes with boxes of extra parts, in addition to the binder of original service records and the restoration photo album. If you are a Ford enthusiast looking for a thoroughly documented vintage Mustang, this is the car for you. The only two owners this car ever had loved and cherished this car. Many more pictures of this car, particularly the underside, can be seen on our website at www.millerbrosautosales.com under the Current Inventory tab. If you have any questions about the car or would like to set up an appointment to come look at the car before bidding, please call 607-769-1181 or 607-329-8668. Due to the age of the vehicle it is being sold as-is. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thank you and happy bidding!
