This one is a keeper 1980 450 SL, the most impressive part of this car is how smooth it runs and shifts. Everything in this car works including the clock and cigarette lighter although it has not been smoked in, Power Antenna works. The AC works but needs to be charged. The paint is old, I tried retouching the trunk lid but I am not a painter and it shows . It has both tops but the rag top will need to be replaced and the dash has cracks. After the car sat for months I put a new battery in and it started right up with no hesitation, smoke or misfire. I also had the Center drag link, tire rod assembly, Air filter and Fuel filter replaced. If you are looking for a car to keep this is the one for a little amount of work. You will be pleased with the way this 34 year old car runs. PLEASE do not bid if you are not completely serious or don't have finances in place.
