This car is an amazing and economic money saving machine. It still gets 28 (city) and 36 (highway) mpg. The only thing wrong with this car is that it has a leak of freon in one of the hoses that goes to the AC compressor and a very very slow leak in the oil pan. I have to put a quart of oil like every two weeks. As for the check engine light, it only has to do with the emissions system and no other major issues. I changed both oxygen sensors, new spark plugs, new catalytic converter, and gave the car a full tune up but the light is still on. This leads me to believe that the charcoal canister has to be changed. You can expect to pay something like $250-$300 for the canister plus labor. The buyer is responsible for all shipping cost.
