This is a fine example of a low spec (true drivers') 2001 Boxster 'S' model Porsche... The original owner ordered this car with just the Sport Pkg. because he was a true enthusiast and believed that the Boxsters came with "Everything you need...and nothing you don't"! I happen to agree with his philosophy. So, if you are hunting for a loaded "Bells and whistles" sofa cruiser...this car may not be for you? It has an AMAZINGLY low 17,000 Orig. miles. I am just the second owner from new, and have been for near three years. The original owner had these lightweight Porsche wheels installed at the dealership when new...they are NOT on the factory window sticker. The tires are new only because the originals were flat spotted and dry rotted from age. The car was sold new in Texas and now resides in New Jersey. I have the window sticker and all books and manuals. It is all stock except for an aftermarket German made short shift lever and TechArt alloy shift ball. The rear bumper overriders have also been paint matched for a more current look. The car has never ever been tracked and NEVER abused or smoked in. Quite simply has to be one of (if not THE) nicest examples of a pre-owned Boxster on the market today! It has received regular maintenance and has a fresh oil change and cabin air filter for the spring / summer season. It is ready to go and will absolutely NOT DISAPPOINT!!!
