For sale is a 1948 Chevrolet 5 window pickup. truck is the 3100 series. comes with the 216 ci engine partially disassembled and the transmission is a 4 speed. I searched years for this truck as I wanted a clean straight body to start with, this is it. Only rust damage I found was a section of the drivers side floor which will have to be cut out and a patch panel put in. all other rust was simply surface. I have started sanding the truck down for paint, the body is all together, panels were taken apart to check for rust and any damage. My Great Grandfather had the same truck which is why I sought this one out....had to have one like him. Time constraints have changed, and I no longer have time to do this project. So, I list it here and hope it goes to someone who will do it justice, and give it a second life. All trim is still with the truck, as is the tailgate. Any part you may ever need or want for the truck is available is the LMC parts book. I will not give this truck away, but the reserve is reasonable for what the truck is and the condition.
