Vehicle Detail
I've been getting a lot of questions about selling the car without the motor. I will only drop the price $400 if you don't want the motor. I believe the car is fairly priced even without the engine. I have spent $10,000 on the motor alone. It is a crate engine souped up with $2000 heads, forged new pistons and roller rockers. Steel crank as well. I'm loosing my property and need the car moved that's why I'm not asking $15,000 for the car. I was giving the motor away at my original price. If you don't want the motor it is your loss. Up for auction is a Rare 1955 Chevy 210 2dr hardtop. The car is solid! It has alot of work done to it. The car is now rust free. I had it off the frame to cleanup and restore the underside. The frame was also painted semigloss black. The frame is a Rare "California seamless" frame. The vin number on the frame matches the body. The car comes with a 1996 GM LT1 that has been built up. It motor is fresh with AFR 65CC heads. It was rebuilt and ran in my Camaro. It has low miles after the rebuild. It is fast! I never had it on a dyno, but it puts out over 400hp. No transmission is included. The rearend is a stock 55 axel. The front suspension was rebuilt with new coils, bushings, ball joints, and tierods. The Car comes with its original seats and armrests. It comes with a front bumper with brackets. The entire car has been plastic media blasted in peices and primed in DP48 (white) and DP50 (black) primer from Dupont. The quarter window and door window frames have been rechromed like new. The hood bar and lower grill bar have also been rechromed. All the interior garnish mouldings and exterior stainless is intact. The car does not have side glass or a windshield. The lower quarterpanels and tail pan have been replaced along with two floor pans. They were replaced using reroduction and original sheetmetal. It comes with a clear Nevada title. The vin is VB55F187xxx the cowl tag data plate reads: Style No 55-1037, body No. F 447, Trim No. 503, Paint No 682. The car is sold "as is".
