Thanks for looking! please read over the entire description twice before considering to place a bid! ZIP CODE = 47203, located in Columbus, Indiana, 45 minutes south of Indianapolis. Yes, I can pick you up from the airport (Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Louisville- you have to pre-arrange this) and you can drive this home. Ford E350 (1 ton) chassis- 1998 Powerstroke diesel turbo-charged school bus. Automatic transmission with overdrive. This truck runs and drives 150%. 2 months ago I bought her off of a school district in New York State. I drive it home 860 miles without one issue whatsoever. This beauty was taken out of school bus service in 2013 when the NY school district updated their fleet to newer vehicles. Do not be confused. This bus is ready to be driven to California. The turbo diesel motor purrs like a kitten and the transmission shifts absolutely perfectly. The radio plays the tunes as loud as you can stand. The bus has 3 very minor imperfections- each located under the doors. Beneath the driver’s door there is some very light surface rust, and the same goes for beneath the rear emergency exit/ cargo door and beneath the passenger side door/ (the door the children would generally enter the bus from). Those are the only very minor imperfections. Period. See the pictures for detailed views. The short bus has 132,205 miles on it. It has no AC or Cruise, however the tape deck, flashers, rear heater (for anyone who may be riding in the rear of the bus), all lights, all doors, blower motor, windshield wipers, EVERYTHING works perfectly. The tires are around 25% and may need replaced after 25k more miles. This bus starts right up in the coldest of any NY or Indiana winters. It doesn’t need to be plugged it- starts in any weather. Brand new batteries. It comes with a spare fuel filter. The interior is pretty clean! 2 of the rearmost rows of seats have been removed. If you sit two people per seat, there is seating for 8 people currently (with seatbelts), rear cargo place, and a seat for the driver. I bought it to convert to an RV. I have too many toys/ projects. I am selling to devote all of my time and energy to a frame off restoration on my old Jeep. If you would like to test drive, please email me to setup a time whenever you like. I have nothing to hide. I often see Powerstroke diesels with auto transmissions connected to them go for $1500-$2000 alone, plus the $1000 worth of scrap metal on the bus itself- you could make thousands parting this thing out if that’s what you want to do? You could use this as a hunting vehicle, RV, school bus, parts wagon, band tour bus, work truck, shop van, maybe you have 8 kids?
