This auction is for an all steel 1929 Ford Roadster. It started life as a 1929 sport coupe. 305 Chevy V8 with automatic transmission, genie style shifter, channeled about 7 inches over a boxed Model A chassis, z-d chassis about 4 inches in rear. 10 bolt Chevy rear end with wheel adapters to accept 1938 Ford wide 5 wheels, 16 inch. Stock modified model A axle in front about a 2 1/2 inch drop. Has round style spindles with 40 Ford backing plates, king pins are nice and tight. All set up for hydraulic brakes (the fronts are not currently hooked up). Corvair steering box. 56 Ford column drop and column. Removable sprint car steering wheel. Windshield has been chopped. It has new safety glass. Interior pretty nice with black carpet as pictures show. Trunk has rumble seat style hinges as shown in the photos. Battery and gas tank in trunk. 39 Ford tail lights with glass lenses. 1950 Cad air cleaner with modern element inside. 1950's style pin striping by Brian Chainey, a local guy who does a great job. Old school Rams horn exhaust manifold and brand new exhaust. Runs good, goes down the road good. Please watch the video.
