I am the third owner of this 1998 E39 528i sport edition with 17" BBS Wheels, Sport Suspension and Trim package. First owner lived in Eugene Oregon, second owner in Washington State. I purchased the car in April of 2011 while living in Oregon. The Pacific NW does not use road salt so no corrosion or rust on the car. I currently live in Massachusetts and have been diligent about cleaning the car after driving in the snow. The car went across the country on a flatbed. It is in excellent condition. I have the owners manual, original window sticker, and paperwork for repairs and service- dealer repaired and serviced with BMW parts. I always wanted a clean E39 BMW and when I found this one, I bought it. I have enjoyed owning and riving it. Due in large part to my kids college tuition (I hope they graduate soon..), I can not currently afford the luxury of a second car. Since I have owned the car in addition to regular maintenance I have replaced the head gasket (Jan 2012 98K miles) brakes and rotors (Nov. 2012- 101K miles), battery (October 2013 108K miles) and 2 new rear tires- Continental 235/45/R17 extreme contact DWS (Dec 2013 108K miles). The car now has 109,412 miles on it. Extra details include the cargo net in the trunk, a full size spare with the same wheels as on the car, in trunk BMW tool kit plus 3 master keys and the original valet key. This is a great car, I am sure you will enjoy owning and driving it too. I am being realistic about the market value and set a very fair reserve price. What isn't perfect- The CD changer does not always work, it skips and I haven't found time to sort it out., there are small rock chips on the hood, a scrape on the lower rear under cowling, and the leather is scuffed on the drivers seat. I tried to show all of these in the photos. The car is available for local pick up. I will drop it off to a local shipper if you are out of state and are shipping the car.
