5 DAY AUCTION @ NO RESERVE BEING SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER! A Original 1968 Pontiac GTO Numbers Matching 400, PHS Documented. Factory Nightshade Green with Parchment interior. Original options include TH400 Hurst His/Her - 3.23 Posi - Air Condition - Power Steering - Tilt Steering Wheel - AM/FM - Rally II Wheels - Rally Gauges - Hood Tach - Remote Mirror - Front Disc Brakes Added - Factory Tinted Glass The ID of the car matches the block & the PHS documents match the engine number. This Goat has spent most of its life in Southern California. It's an older restoration that has been garaged & well taken care of (Adult Owned & Driven). It's always been covered, never driven in the rain since the restoration. Most important, still has its original solid floor pans with NO patch panels. Very clean undercarriage, frame rails, trunk & corners of the windshield. The original drivetrain (engine/tranny/rear end) have less then 900 miles since they were rebuilt. The Original "YS" Block was completely rebuilt from the top to bottom. Performance add ons we're added: Headers, Mild Summit Cam, Edelbrock Intake & A 700 Dual Holley Carburetor. This GTO idles beautiful & has that correct sound to it as it should have. The transmission was professionally rebuilt & a mild shift kit was added. The rear end was opened up & serviced during this time. Recently, Front Disc Brakes, front & rear high performance sway bars & new shocks were added. Handles and brakes really well, it's tight. Has a newer Larger radiator & dual electric fans were added for the long road trips. Does have rear air shocks. It is ready to be driven anywhere, new belts & hoses were installed recently. Only been taken 91 Octane From Mobil. The Rally's were restored in 2007 and TAs we're added. The interior is in beautiful condition & complete. The body is straight and the doors shut promptly. I do have a stack of documents (receipts) to show the work of the drivetrain. It burns rubber in all gears, very quick. The hideaways were recently gone thru, new canisters & electric wiring. They work just fine, also the door hinges were rebuilt. The windshield wipers motor was also rewired. The rally clock gauge was lube and works fine, as well as the Hood Tach. The original AM/FM radio was restored with new rear shelf speakers. Does have some under dash gauges for safety. Other then that, all the electrical works including the horn. The A/C is not connected but I do have the compressor. Next step was to add vintage air but never got around to it. I do have the original fan shroud, fan & factory intake manifold. This Pontiac was built with the intention on driving it, not to be a show queen. It was painted its original color Nightshade Green (only repaint) in 2006. Taken all apart including the glass. Its in beautiful condition & gets plenty attention when it's out. Does have a few minor small bubbles and a smaller paint chip. It is in driver condition.
