Vehicle Detail
Hi, up for auction is my 1973 Triumph Stag!! This is a extremely rare car being 1 of 1138 for export. Less than 26,000 total built both for UK and export over the 7 year production run. Interesting story behind this car, my wife's father bought this brand new in 1973 and drove it as a weekend fair weather car, my wife then drove it to high school in the 1980's. After high school graduation, the Stag was sold to a pilot, and disappeared. She always talked about this car and all the great memories she and her Dad, friends and family had with this car. She missed her Stag!! Well, fast forward 2010 I start the search for her beloved car, not just any Stag, but HER Stag!! I located it after several months of back tracking in a old 5 story brick parking garage in San Francisco. The Stag has only logged 76,000 original miles!! Everything matched and the car was purchased, wrapped and un-wrapped Christmas morning!! She could not believe what she was seeing, it was awesome. Just a bit of history to share. The Stag runs well, it has a new rack and pinion steering, brakes, new battery and a ton of parts that will go with the sale of the Stag. I have carpet, extra glass, power window regulators, and misc. parts etc. The primer is over original paint and could be preserved, as seen in a couple pics. This is how I purchased the car. It's a great car, hard top convertible. You just do not see these anymore!! Clean clear title. The car starts right up and sounds great!! Please ask any and all questions you may have and I will be happy to answer them. The car is STILL located her in the San Francisco bay area and is available to be seen and driven in person. Feel free to email me or you can call me direct at (650) 400-8836 Own a piece of history, thanks for looking!! Good luck on the auction and HAPPY BIDDING!!
