Vehicle Detail
Located in Columbus, Indiana, zip code 47203. This truck starts in ANY weather, runs, drives, shifts, works in 4x4 150%. It will not have any issue driving to California tomorrow. Yes, I can pick you up from Indy, Cincinati, or Louisville airport if you pre-arrange this with me. This truck is for sale with no warranties implied or expressed, as-is, where is in Columbus, IN. I have been through everything on this truck- It is extremely dependable and will not leave you stranded- I stay ahead on parts- I used it as a plow truck this winter and did NOT want to miss out on making my plow $$ :). I am meticulous and baby my diesels- let them idle for 10 minutes in the winter before driving anywhere (really easy with the remote start system on this truck)! Please read the entire description twice before bidding and understand that if you cannot pay in cash within a week and a half of the auctions close, do NOT click on the magic button Great fuel economy crew cab long bed 2003 Cummins turbo diesel with fresh trans rebuild and new billet torque converter. VIN = 3D7KU28643G762576 . 100% CLEAR TITLE READY FOR NEW OWNER The auctions ends on Sunday April 6th @ 5PM eastern, if you really want to win, maybe set a reminder in your phone to check eBay at 4pm to see what the auction looks like. I bought this truck in October/ November of 2013. I have the reserve at FIVE TO SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS LESS THAN WHAT I HAVE INTO THE TRUCK. My loss. If you have any questions, just ask. If you want specific pictures or videos, please ask. Verbatim words from the description of when I bought the truck 5 months ago (here on eBay are in blue directly below): “Truck is in great mechanical condition with all these parts replaced within the last year- all hoses, belts, brakes, 2 rotors, 2 calipers, front drive shaft, U-joints on rear shaft, axle joints, water pump, belt tension-er, ball joints, all tie-rods, track bar bushings, tires (cooper AT3 285/75R17), starter, steering box, remote start. I live in a remote part of Michigan where break downs can be life-threatening. Dent on RF fender, dent on top right of cab, brush scratches on both sides of truck, dented rear bumper. Truck could use some minor body and paint work if you needed a perfect looking truck. Some minor body work has been completed on both bed sides. Dent on lower portion of driver’s door. Has new stereo CD player with aux jack. Rhino lined bed. Four wheel drive works perfect and has manual shift transfer case with newly replaced bushings on linkage. Truck has chrome cab and step protection. AC is ice cold.” (PO’s words- but as I have the vast majority of his receipts, I am sure he is correct- The truck came with more than $1700 worth of receipts for the parts the previous owner had installed.) Since I have owned the truck I have done the following: I rebuilt the transmission. 48RE. $900-have the receipt (I uninstalled and installed fresh one!). While I went through the trans, I also installed a low-miles transfercase - $600- (120k miles on the transfercase). I put in a stage 3.5 REVMAX torque converter ($700 + core). New tranny fluid and filter(140$).. New borg warner valve and shift transducer ($114.09) The truck has new rear glass $257.51. In the end of December 2013/ early January 2014, I installed a Meyer 9.5’ POLY snowplow (model year 2006)- $2200 from a friend. David’s Welding of Columbus Indiana rebuilt entire plow frame and swivel pins, replaced every single bolt that holds the plow to the frame ($838.00) I rebuilt all seals in the plow $56.50. New snowplow motor $90 and new hoses and fittings- $25. New belt tensioner, idler, serp. Belt in January $250- rock auto. I put 2 of the highest cold-cranking amp batteries available-$300- the receipt is taped to the batteries- if there are any issues within 36 months, they replace the batteries no questions asked. Dashpad- $40 Total new parts since November 2013-February 2014= $900, $600, $700, $140, $114, $250, $2200, $838, $56, $90, $25, $250, $300, $40= $6403. I have every receipt (aside from the plow which I purchased from a co-worker/ friend)- they all come with the truck, plus the more than $1700 worth from the previous owner. None of these $s include my countless hours into it- but hey- I enjoy wrenching so it makes no difference anyway!IF YOU WANT TO SEE ANY OF THE RECEIPTS- JUST ASK- I can scan them and email them to you, no problem whatsoever. This is the tightest steering Cummins truck I have ever driven and I have owned more than 10 different Cummins powered 2500/3500 vehicles. The remote start is killer during the winter time- works from very far away. The tires have 35-40% tread and the interior is super nice albeit the small tear in the driver’s seat, the dash is cracked (covered with new dash pad) and the electric controls on the driver’s door have been poorly glued in when the controls were replaced- yet everything functions 100%- really minor thing. Headliner is clean and doesn't sag at all. The headlights are brand new. There are 2 remote start/ keyless entry keys and a 3rd spare key. really nice trailer brake controller, the rear seat folds up for cargo space. The bed is really clean inside- rhino lined last year. Everything works on this truck- heated mirrors, power driver’s seat, temp gauge, mpg/ fuel economy meter, compass, CD player, heat, AC, all windows, power locks, cruise, lumbar support driver’s seat, block heater, remote start (up to 100 yards away!), transmission shifts 100% perfect with 500 RPM drop stall speed (less wear n tear on the trans and engine- optimal for towing and plowing and MPG!). The truck starts in -20 degree weather without being plugged in. the exhaust is straight piped and pretty loud/throaty! The truck doesn't need anything. It drips a small amount of oil and as you can see, there are minor imperfections to the body- dents, scratches, dings, the bed shows signs of body work. There are two very minor rust spots- NO RUST THROUGH, surface rust only on the rear-most sections of the front fenders- see the pictures.I do not need to sell, it doesn't make sense for me to own two plow trucks- insurance for someone else to operate this truck is too much $$$. Test drives are more than welcome- email me for my phone # to set one up. Located in zip code 47203. No warranties implied or expressed. Pickup only. I can have the plow loaded into the bed if you would like to drive the truck a long distance and get better fuel economy on the way. $500 due within 24 hours of the auctions close (paypal or US currency), the rest will be paid in US currency when I hand over the title- within a week and a half of the auction's close. By bidding, you agree to all terms on this page. I take care of my stuff cause I know a diesel will last forever if you treat it right. I have many many hours and $s into this truck- It may not be the best looking truck, but everyone knows the Cummins turbo diesel with a new trans/ low miles Tcase and $8000 in receipts from the last 12 months ($6400 of which are from the last 4 months) should last another 250k miles without issue. The truck has 236xxx miles. I spoke with Maaco today. They said $540 to repaint the bed sides to match- it just never bothered me Any questions, please ask. Email me if you need my phone #. For sale locally- I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE PLOW WHATSOEVER, I CAN REMOVE THE PLOW AND TAKE $1200 off the price of the auction. State this to me in writing please when you win the truck. Many thanks for looking, have a great day! lowered reserve, lowered Buy it now price
