Vehicle Detail
Just a quick note for interested ebayers and potential bidders that have seen my Fiat listed here earlier and are simply wondering why it has returned. I originally posted my Fiat on March 8th 2014. The auction was won by bidder FAITHHOPELUCK18 on March 15th 2014. FAITHHOPELUCK18 or Lazar Markovici my winning bidder lives out of state . He has NEVER SEEN MY CAR. Not only has he never seen my car but he didn't even ask a single question about the car prior to bidding and winning the auction. Hmmm.. He simply bid on it and won. Ok... No biggie.. So now the auction has ended I message my winning bidder to work out the details on payment and how he would like to pick up his new car.. No response... Nothing... countless messages,, Not a peep.. 6 days goes by.. . Why would someone do this? Seems crazy to me.. So on this 6th day I decide enough is enough and I relist the car. I also open a non-payment case with ebay so I wouldn't have to pay the final ebay fees.. So now the case is open and guess what.. my winning bidder FAITHHOPELUCK18 messages me.. He apologizes for this disappearance.. He explains to me how he had the flu. Hmmm. He tells me not to worry.. Payment is going out in the mail right away.. Ok. Seems a little kooky but whatever. Not the end of the world.. I cancel the current auction... That was 10 days ago.. I just don't understand why people behave this way. Ebay needs to be more agressive with this nonsense. 1982 FIAT SPIDER 2000 PININFARINA WITH ONLY 74,292 MILES If you would love to have a great little roadster for some top down, sun in your face, wind in your hair motoring then the Fiat Spider is an excellent choice! Produced almost exclusively for the North American market, although sold occasionally in some European Countries, the Fiat 124/Spider is becoming a very sought after roadster among car enthusiasts looking for an affordable collectible sports car that can be driven and enjoyed as well as make a great investment. Designed by Italian stylist and coachbuilder Pininfarina the Fiat 124/Spider rivaled the MGB and Alfa Spider as the world’s longest running sports car. In 1982 Pininfarina, who had always assembled the bodies since production began in 1966, took over sole responsibility for the entire assembly, distribution and marketing of the car. 1982 was the last year that wore the Fiat Badge. Many collectors I have spoken with have indicated that the most desirable models are the fuel-injected models, which began in 1980. Not only does this fuel injected 82 Spider look great but also it drives and handles as good as it looks!!! Most everything works. The gauges all operate including the clock, The 5 speed manual transmission shifts nicely through the gears. The clutch feels good; the engine runs nice and smooth while the operating temperature stays nice and cool. It’s got plenty of pep. The brakes feel good and the steering is accurate and fun. It’s an honest little survivor car ready to be enjoyed. Few things needing attention… The radio is not working, The vent window on the passenger side needs the handle glued back onto the glass to lock the window… a little rear view mirror glue would be an easy fix. Shifter knob loose, Convertible top has a small cut on driver’s side near window. Few nicks and small dent on driver’s front fender. This car is 32 years old. It shows very well and is tons of fun but is being sold entirely as-is. The previous owner had it for 16 years and kept it covered in the garage when not being used. I believe the mileage is accurate. Not pictured but included in the sale are a car cover and the convertible top boot cover. Feel free to ask questions before bidding. Feel free to contact me to schedule a time to see it for yourself. Worldwide shipping at buyers expense. Brookeville MD 20833
