Total restoration performed by nationally recognized expert Walt Brewer (author of Walt's Workbench for the Cadillac-LaSalle Club) to original specifications completed in 2001: engine, mechanical, upholstery and paint. Recipient of 1st Place Award at the Cadillac-LaSalle Club Grand National held in Denver that year. The car has approximately 4000 miles since restoration was completed. This makes the car a recognized Senior car of the CLC. If desired, award will travel with car. The 1940 Series 52 marked the last model produced under the LaSalle marque. Only 3000 of this model were produced by GM that year. This fine example was equipped with a working deluxe heater, original AM radio, and side mirrors. A magnificent touring vehicle, the car operates beautifully at highways speeds of 75 m.p.h. for lengthy periods. Always garage kept, the paint on this car shines like a penny!
