Vehicle Detail

what i have listed here is one of the nicest original chevelles around.its a 1970 chevelle malibu 2-door sport coupe survivor with only 72,000 miles.all numbers matching 350,turbo 350 transmission,p.s. p.b. a/c,tinted glass.ect.....here are some of the highlights: body: 1) extremely nice with all original body panels, doors, fenders, trunk lid,hood,ect.... 2)floors,trunk,frame is all original to the car 3)all panels line up,including all the gaps, just like it did when new 4)body is straight and sharp, maybe an ever so slight blemish or ever so slight scratch or scuff, too small to show up on camera, only a ding or two 5)all glass is near perfect, best i can remember,it even still has the original windshield and its near perfect 6)all the trim looks as if it has been replaced,"but"it hasnt.it looks that good 7)all rubber, door, roofrail, trunk, quarter glass channel, even the body to glass weatherstriping is still soft, not hard or crumbling? 8)the vynil top is absolutely hard to believe!you have to look close and to feel one little spot the size of a bb(air rifle)shot.thats how nice the fit, looks and color is 9)car stiil retains the "4"original t-3 headlights 10)doors close with absolutely no sag, good and solid, glass is nice and goes up and down like a new chevelle! 11)only the paint underneath the rear bumper on the valance panel has staining or fading(a easy fix) 12)ther is no visible rust or bubblingwhat repairs was ever done was done 30 years ago when it was repainted in good ole laquer. 13)speaking of paint, yes, this an remarkable paint on this car to have been done so long ago.it is in very good condition,in my opinion it is a 9 out of a 10. 14)it has the second design rally wheels.that was available in 1970 for the first time.these came standard on the camaro super sport and was available on the chevelle and nova in 70 15)i about forgot, its had just the lower bottom quarter panels repaired back years and years ago when it was painted.it was done right and you have to look for it to be able to find it,no problems here interior: 1)all the interior appears to be correct and original to the car,it is dark green vynil 2)the carpet is the original and does have one little wear spot 3)dash is near perfect, including the dash pad.all the plastic pieces are flawless and all the chrome finish is still excellent like day one. even the radio still plays and the knobs look like theyve never been turned 4)steering wheel is still glossy and slick,no cracks,it looks like its never turned 5)headliner has no tears, stains, holes or loose threads 6)seats have no tears, rips or cuts 7)the ash tray inside still has the galvanized plating when new, looks like nothing has ever been in it! 8)interior is as nice as one that would have been found on a used car lot in 1975! 9did i say it was clean??youve got to see it it to believe it underhood: 1)engine runs, starts, and sounds like it should,it is extremely quiet 2)it does not smoke, knock or rattle, 3)everything is all ther and complete the way that it came, including all emissions for 1970 4)the air is all still there, never been converted over to 134 5)the only thing i noticed is a leak coming from the transmission pan.most likely to be tightened or a new gasket 6)transmission shifts,up and down excellent like its suppose to,no noises trunk: 1)trunk pan is nice and not been replaced and doesnt look to have ever been re splattered 2)spare tire, and all jack hardware is there 3it still retains the original trunk mat,but it is worse for wear thats was a list of the things about the car i could think of other than it being a 72,000 mile tru survivor in my opinion. the one thing i left for last was probably the biggest most single thing, all the original documents and paper work since new!!!!!!!there is a picture that shows all this on a board. its unbelivable, heres a list 1)window sticker 2)owners manual 3)protecto-plate 4)special ordered car invoice 5)first registered dmv document 6)transporter/destinationcard for shipping from factory to dealer 7)finance note and security agreement 8)bill of sale 9)payment stub tear out booklet 10)key folder pouch for extra keys,...........most pieces ive ever seen or had with a car, period! i know ther was a 70 chevelle that was listed on here a few days ago.and at one time it was up around $16,000 with 4 days to go and still hadnt met the reserve.it did have a retracted bid that dropped it back down though.and now there is a blue one on here that has no underhood pictures.that seems to be going really strong.I AM NOT PUTTING THESE CARS DOWN,they are every nice ones best i can tell.what i am trying to say is all this paper work has to count for something?the top notch car appraisale companys will tell you that you can add up to 25%of value far a/c and 25% for documentation and original paperwork,so that means this car is going to be priced way below value? thats all i can think of at this time.if your looking for a car that you want to go up in value and appreciate, then this could be the one.if would like to have a 3rd party person to look at the car for you, then that would be fine too.car is for sale locallyand could be sold at any time.if you have less than a 10 feedback, please email me first, just so i can find out how interested you are?.........last car i listed, the idiot, yes, idiot, bid 4 times then waited 24 hours to say he retracted his bid because he entered the wrong amout????????????then, the same car finally sold and the high bidder the next day said he was a nervous wreck????????????these are grown men,or so i thought.you know who you are!so please dont waste my time, dont bid if you have a wife that controls your money for you. ive owned lots of nice cars, mainly camaro, chevelles and novas.im a dealer in n.c.dba hathcock auto sales.im not in it for the money, people would not belive how many cars ive sold and not made hardly a dollar on,i just love these kind of cars,i like them all.so i cant keep all of them.................someone is going to get a real nice one here if the money is right.heres a hint ,the reserve is way less than $20,000........would you believe its actually less than $15,000?????theres no way you by a good body on here in primer, then do a drive train, then body work and paint, for a price like this, not counting the fact its low miles, and its in the condition it is?well you decide.thanks for looking, sorry about the long description.
