Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This car is being re-listed due to an, unfortunately, unreliable first buyer.Here is a 2002 Black Jetta GL with only 75,660 miles. I have owned this car for eight years and it has been reliable and pleasant to drive. In that time it has had regular oil changes every 5,000 miles. It has successfully journeyed to New Orleans, LA and back to CT on multiple occasions. The car received a new catalytic converter in August 2012. The car received new tires in August 2012; the tires only have 6,000 miles on them. The crankshaft position sensor was replaced in November 2012. The lower control arms, bushings and swivel balls were all replaced with genuine Volkswagen parts in January 2014. At the same time, the front brake rotors and pads were replaced in the front of the vehicle.The interior of the car is in nice condition. There is a water mark on the passenger seat located at the bottom of the back of the seat. There is a small exterior dent on the passenger side rear door and there is a minor dent on the rear bumper (photo included). The front passenger door squeaks when opened. The car has been running very well and has been a reliable vehicle. The vehicle starts with the use of a start button located under the dash-board (included in photos). Two weeks ago, a check engine light turned on and the car is limiting itself to 3,000 RPM. I took it to Pep-Boys and the mechanic said the check engine light was the result of a bad cam position sensor. A snow storm knocked off part of the antennae, it has not effected the quality of the radio. Additionally, the battery for the automatic lock on the truck needs to be replaced. The car is running and driving, and can be driven to its final destination. I’m selling this Jetta because I am making a cross-country move. It is a very well maintained car with a clean interior.
