Vehicle Detail
Two cars - the 340 project and a good donor! The 340 Car Factory original (except sunroof), numbers matching, purchased new by my father. Build sheet accompanies the car. 51000 miles. Car is stripped and ready for body work. Have all the parts tagged and labelled. Has some corrosion but not bad. Bottom of car has surface corrosion but is very solid. The engine is apart but I have all new parts to put it back together. It has been professionally machined and is ready for assembly. The 727 transmission has been professionally built with new clutches, pump and torque converter. The car has power steering and power disc brakes. The interior is in exceptional condition with only two small tears in the front seat. Dash pad is good and all gauges work. The bumpers will have to be rechromed. The car also comes with a complete front end rebuild kit. Has a 3:23 8 3/4 rearend. Vehicle has been coated to protect the bare steel for up to 12 months. The Engine The engine has been completely machinedHeads rebuilt - hardened seats installedBlock bored 30-overNew forged pistonsNew cam bearingsAll new bearings for bottom endCrank polishedEngine has been balancedHave new oil pump and pickupMoly ringsCloyes true roller timing setBoth the original cam and a new mild purple cam and lifters.3 cans of Street Hemi Orange paint The donor car The donor car is a 1971 Dart. It is a southern car with very little rust. A truly solid car. The front fenders are off of the 340 car. The drivers fendercould probably be reused. The passenger fender is rough. The trunk lid also came off of the 340 car and is usable. It has some rust in the bottom seam. The grille, bumper and front valance are all good and are in the trunk. The car has a slant-6 and is automatic. It's got good tires. It does not run. Please bid only if you intend to purchase. Thank you.
