Hi, up for sale is my friends 1987 Jaguar XJS V12 coupe, it is Black exterior and Tan leather interior, power windows, Cassette player, first of all this car runs and drives great, there no issue with the engine or trans, engine is very smooth no strange noise, trans shifts like new, if you know XJS the most of them have overheating problem, this one is great, im driving it every day, this car just had a full exhaust replacement, look at the pictures, from headers to all the way back is a brand new exhaust and mufflers, and just had the suspension and struts serviced, so it runs like new now, does not shake or knock, goes though bumps with no knocking, new head liner, rims in great shape as well, no curb rush or scratches, now im going to list what works and what does not, it is a old car and you probably want to know everything about it, wipers, washer fluid, headlights, turn signals, foglights, power windows, speedometer, power antenna, horn, interior computer message center and interior lights ALL WORK GREAT Does not work, fuel gage sometimes work sometimes does not, however the fuel trip monitor works fine, you can tell by that how much gas you have, RPM does not show, radio asking for code, that's all I can think of, Exterior is great and no scratches or dents, Body has rust in the quarter panel and front fender, I think that's all, if you have any questions please ask, ill get back to everyone, Car listed locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction anytime, and I can end the auction for a reasonable price as well. This car does not need to be towed, it will make it to anywhere, last week we took a trip to Indianapolis from Chicago, 8 hour round trip, it was a blast to drive, and real head turner. clean title in hand, Thanks On Mar-25-14 at 11:06:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Due to many questions ill input more details, brakes are great, does not shake or nothing. It stops dead, emergency brake is not working, probably due to a broken cable, it never worked and we never cared about that, seats are in amazing shape, it almost looks like new, and yes speedometer works fine, miles roll, and yes original miles, about the rust on the car sorry i can not pin point all, but there rust spots, like hood has coupe of chips, fender has a rust hole and quarter panel and under the car is few rust spots as well, unfortunately the car is in Illinois and its hard to keep those rust of the car, however it was stored in the winter time. About leaks, in 3 month in the garage we found few drops of oil on the floor, so i think there is a leak in the oil pan or something, however the oil level does not go down, and yes it has great oil pressure, gage works and every time you rev it it goes up and down, the mirrors i think work on a cable also, so mirror control does not work, it probably needs some oil, on a good note this car does not need anything now, it is in perfect drive condition now, as i said i drive it every day now, it needs nothing to drive around now. After a car wash it shines like new, paint in good condition. I hope i answered most of the questions. If anything please ask. Thanks
