This truck is in good condition for it's age, it has 10092 miles on it. It has some minor surface rust on the body, the cab corners are solid. I noticed when I was taking the pictures that there may be a spot on one of the fenders where it is starting to rust through. The paint is dull and faded. All the glass is intact with a small repairable chip in the front windshield. There is some separation and discoloration around the edges of the side glass. The tires are weathered and worn but still hold air. The engine starts and runs well. There seems to be a leak in brake system, if it sits for some time the master cylinder will be dry. I can fill it up with brake fluid and pump some air out of them and they will work okay. I would reccommend hauling this truck to your location, but it is drivable. I drove it 1000 miles from Custer SD 4 years ago with no problems encountered. The truck served Hot Springs South Dakota for many years before being retired. I bought the truck from a good man up in Custer SD and I had planned on restoring it, however I can't seem to get motivated and she deserves better than sitting around the farm. I thought I would offer the truck as it sits in case someone wants to try and salvage the originality of the truck before I get myself motiviated into renovating it myself. As far as I can tell most of the fire fighting capability of this truck is still functional, the pump turned freely the last time I checked it. The siren and light works, there is some weathering visible on the siren as can be seen in the photo's. There are some hoses stored inside the back compartment, but I don't have the nozzles, fire axes or ladders. I will be glad to provide additional pictures if desired and answer any questions you may have. I have the shipping listed as local pickup only. The truck starts and drives and can drive up onto a trailer with no problem and I can assist with loading the truck.
