Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE! This is my 2000 Jeep TJ Wrangler with a 2005 Chevy 5.3 Vortex engine, 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive. Completely electronic including drive by wire. It has the NP 231 transfer case with a slip yoke eliminator supplied by Novak Conversions. It would take forever to explain all that has been done to this Jeep. Pretty much anything that moves has been replaced. I used Novak adapters for everything. It has 33X1250X15" tires that are 90%. It has a three inch suspension lift and a 1.5 inch body lift. It has A/C, Cruise control, Power steering, AM,FM CD with a USB input. 8000lb Warn winch that has only used to pull others out. I have never got it stuck. It has so much power that you don't ever need 4WD. Although the 4WD works perfect. A complete set of Auto Meter gauges, ($1000.00 worth) It drives down the interstate as smooth as a car. It has just rolled over to 45000 miles. It runs and sounds like a beast. It looks totally normal. After all, Its a Jeep. I've never been scared to scratch it , Gives it character. I don't have the back seat in it right now, but I do have it. As well as a hard top, Soft top, Bimini Top, Steel half doors, Fiberglass uppers as well as soft upper doors. Trailer hitch, both front and rear, Snorkel, Two electric fans mounted, One for the A/C One for the aluminum radiator, 6" Bushwhacker fender flairs. Both front end and rear end have been rebuilt with new parts including 4-11 gears, axles, bearings, rotors, pads ,drums, calipers, wheel cylinder's, I would get in it today and go anywhere in the USA including Alaska. In the deepest mud or snow. A drive across county, A drive on the beach, A climb in the mountain's, anywhere! Even the drag strip to show off a little. Although I have yet to do that. The nicest thing about having 350HP in a two thousand pound Jeep is that it is unstoppable. And by changing the computer a little it can get 37 MPG! I have more than $30,000.00 cash in it. Not to mention more than five months of labor. I have been driving it as a daily driver for just over five years now with no problems. I have people ask, What happens when it breaks down, Who can work on it? I say its just as normal as anything else. If for some reason the check engine light comes on you simple use a scan tool to read the code and fix the problem. Just like you would do on any late model car. This Jeep has always been adult driven. I very seldom let anyone drive it. And if I do I am riding with them. Most don't understand the power, It pulls and pushes like a bulldozer, It will eat Mustangs, Corvettes and the rest of them with ease. That's why its not for kids. It could get away from them before they knew it. I will not sell it to anyone who intends on buying it for a teenager. It has a positive rear end and can pull the front tires completely off the ground with little to no effort. My reasons for selling it are simple. I am disabled and can't really get under it anymore. As long as I have access to it, I will drive it. Lots of extras come with it so you can do as you wish. I have always used synthetic oil in it. Including the transfer case and front and rear end. It doesn't leak or drip anything. I have all of the receipts as well as the installation guides on everything that I installed on it. Including, Auto meter gauges, Speedometer, Tachometer, Oil pressure, Temperature, Gas gauge, Volt meter,($1000.00) Electric fans,($400.00) Radiator, ($504.00) Bull Dog upper fiberglass door, ($600.00) Thick rubber flooring, ($300.00)Teraflex extreme short shaft kit,($309.00) Safari snorkel, ($400.00) Front and rear drive shafts, ($2500.00) Engine harness, ($1000.00) Locker transmission shifter, ($269.00)Transmission output shaft adapter, ($527.00) Novak transfer case shifter,($180.00) Dakota Digital cruise control. ($400.00) New hubs,($500.00) Rebuilt transmission,($2000.00) Motor out of 2005 Silverado, 16000 miles, ($2300.00) A/C relocate kit, ($449.00) Motor mounts, ($269.00) PC programming, ($200.00) Front and rear end with heavy duty gears and axles, ($5000.00) and on and on and on. I do have a clear title in hand, I will take cash or certified checks. Even Gold or Silver. Guns, Cars, RV's, Boats, Land, whatever, Tell me what you got. No dead beats and no I am not new to this and will not play games. Remember this is not a toy. (well... It is to me) I can confirm the miles at 45000 since the conversion. As we all know its not even broken in yet. A 2005 5.3 Chevy Vortex should go 300.000 miles plus. The body has no rust. The soft top has not been used in five years, No idea what kind of shape it might be in. A few scratches and dings here and there, Seats could use seat covers. But its a normal Jeep with lots of power. It does have headers and a custom flow master exhaust. Another thousand dollars. Also just added a electronic exhaust cut out. This will bypass the muffler. Its kinda fun sitting at a red light and it comes alive. Heres what it needs... A good paint job and some seat covers would make it new. The exhaust is loose and creates a vibration. Once again I am unable to get under it to fix it. I try not to take it to a shop to get anything done on it. They seem to have the need to test drive it. I will also deliver it for a fee. Good luck and remember it is being listed local on the street and this listing can end without notice. I think the pictures will show it all. I'm very mechanically inclined and can tell you its solid. I hate to sell it, But its just sitting now after buying a new truck. Good luck to all of you, I will require a $500.00 deposit at the end of the auction via Pay-Pal. The balance due when you pick it up. Don't be scared to fly in to Savannah and drive it home. You will have no problems. Good Luck! Here's a video of when I built it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlJlGzPlopU I'm going to post another video that I will make today to try to answer all the questions that I have received. The first video was made in 2008 so things have changed since then. Here is a video I made today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-vKgRvIUxg&feature=youtu.be
