Vehicle Detail
We've got a nice 1959 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe for sale. If you're looking for a fully restored show car then this is NOT it, however if you're interested in a weekend cruiser you can be proud of this IS it. All the heavy expenses have been taken care of, so left for you to do is tinkering with details and upgrades once in a while when money is available to you. You can buy a $35-40.000 car that's done, or you can buy an affordable classic like this for a lot less but still look like a million dollars, your choice. This is what's been done; Body stripped to the bare metal then bodyworked/prepped primed and then painted in the original single stage Beaumont Beige color it came with as new. All new rubber, new complete dual exhaust, new shocks, complete new interior including carpet seats panels (front and rear) dash pad headliner and rear shelf. The engine and transmission are original and running well. Complete tune up with new filters oils carburetor adjustment plugs wires points distributor coil etc. New brakes all the way around, radiator and heater core pressure tested and installed. Didn't have the original hubcaps, so we installed wire wheels with wide white wall tires which really sets it off. The car is of course rust free and is also undercoated. This is what's NOT working; windshield wipers, heater, temp gauge, speedometer and radio. This car came with optional 6 way power seat which works fine. The chrome is NOT excellent and there are some imperfections like pitting and a small tear in the drivers side rear bumper end. I'm mentioning this up front so there won't be any surprises later, just trying to be honest. Having said this, you're getting one hell of a nice vehicle which is only going to appreciate with time, so bid with confidence. If you have any questions feel free to ask as I'm sure I've forgot a thing or two in this description. If you want to come check it out in person you're welcome at any time. Thanks for your time and happy bidding!
