Here is one of the sought after 7.3 L Diesel Super Duty Powerstrokes. Early in 2003 these trucks were no longer produced. These 7.3L trucks are very popular for 3 reasons. 1. Proven Durability 2. Awesome torque for pulling and hauling 3. Impressive fuel mileage. Rated as one of 10 Best Used Diesel Trucks by Diesel Power Magazine. "The late ’99 to ’00 model year is the jewel of 7.3L Power Stroke engines, due to having the proven, forged-steel connecting rods and 17 degree high-pressure oil pump (vs. 15 degree on ’94½ to early ’99 models) and being equipped with an intercooler from the factory. These forged-rod engines have proven they can handle more than 500 rwhp, be quite fuel efficient, and last forever." This privately owned truck has been well cared for and it would be challenging to find another 2000 Super Duty in this level of condition. MECHANICAL Engine starts like it should and idles great. Performance is impressive and the truck is in excellent working order. No dash engine warning lights illuminated. AC and heat are good. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Suspension and steering are tight. Drives straight. Batteries are in good shape. BODY The original black paint is in above average condition and has a nice shine. The body is very straight. No hail damage. There 3 minor dents on the truck but they are not very noticeable. Bed and tailgate are nice with Linex style coating. 16K fifth wheel hitch included and in great shape. Windshield is perfect. Rear windows are tinted. Bumpers and grill are good. Headlights and turn signals recently updated to the 2002-2004 style. INTERIOR The interior is in great condition. The gray lariat leather seats, dash, steering wheel and headliner are all nice. Smoke free. TIRES / WHEELS Ford Lariat aluminum wheels in nice condition. Michelin All Terrrain with decent tread.
