Own a piece of history. Here is a beautifully restored 1978 RM125C. This is the actual bike (not one like it) that now sports the cover of the new Clymer Suzuki Twin Shock shop manual for RM50-RM400 1975-1981. This is the actual bike that was chosen by James Grooms who is the Editorial Director of Penton Media (Clymer) to be on the cover of the M371 manual. The 1978 RM125C was the 1st year for the plastic tank RM and aluminum swingarm. This RM125 is now on the cover of the Twin Shock manual which had the '79 RM400N which has been on the cover since the 2nd edition 1st printing November, 1979. This RM125 bike is now on the 3rd edition 14th printing. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own the actual bike on the cover of a Clymer manual which is distributed and used Worldwide. The bike will come with documentation from Penton Media Publications with the frame and engine serial numbers of the bike verifying it is the actual bike on the front cover of the M371 Suzuki manual. It starts right up and runs great. The top and bottom end was rebuilt using genuine Suzuki parts. All parts have been removed, cleaned, inspected, re-plated or replaced. Carb is NOS as well as the tank and many other parts. After searching my parts sources Worldwide for 2 years in England, Sweden, and Belgium, I was able to find in Australia which was probably the last NOS tank in existence and wasn't cheap. Try and find another one. It is almost impossible to find a '78 125C with a pipe and silencer that is not dented. Just the NOS side covers sell for $350 +. The bike has gotten endless compliments and has been on display at several Suzuki dealerships and now sits in my living room. This bike would be a great addition to display at a Suzuki dealership or at any bike show with the manual and documentation displayed with it. You won't be disappointed with this vintage RM. There is no title but I can provide a motorcycle bill of sale with the frame and engine serial numbers that support Clymer's documentation. If you need a title, there are several title companies out there who can help you with that. My State doesn't require a title for a bike this old so I never needed or looked into getting one. This bike will only increase in value and with the time and parts that went into this restoration, the value of this bike is much more than the starting bid being a Worldwide cover image.
