After hours cell phone: Bob 864 245 2454. Glen 864 376 6869. Now about this item... We purchased this Vette from an insurance company, wrecked and the insurance company listed the title as salvage. This car was wrecked in the front. The airbags were NOT deployed and the airbags are still in working condition. The airbag lite turns on at engine start and after a few seconds the lite goes out. There was some minor damage to the front bumper and some damage to the lower radiatior. We had the radiator repaired by a local radiator shop. The AC also works. There was also some scratches down the passenger side and across the rear. So all of these areas were painted. The paint looks AWESOME on the car, very SLICK. The rear view mirror and the glass in the passenger mirror are missing. We only have a key for the car, we did not get a remote with it. The passenger window does not go up or down. We did not check to see what was wrong, it could be as simple as the window switch, blown fuse, or a bad window motor. If the motor is bad, they are usually less than $100 at any parts store or junk yard. With the salvage title, most states have no issue to title in your state. Some states, the car would need to be inspected before the state would issue a tag or title. Typical inspection is a walk around the car and be sure that all lights etc are in proper working order... nothing real serious as long as the car looks like it should and this car LOOKS AWESOME, no worries here. This is your chance to own a low mileage red vette for very cheap. If this car has a normal title it would probably sell for close to $20k, maybe.. With this salvage title thousands less... I guess the lighting makes the units look better. We usually liquidate our inventory and only do a basic mechanical check out. We sold over 350 units in 2008. We sold over 100 units in the 4th quarter alone!!! YES, we sold over 100 units in the supposedly worst economy ever. We are selling them because we are CHEAP. So we are unable to take enough time to completely check out every thing on each unit. We will make sure the engine, transmission, over head air conditioner, refrigerator, and the generator operate normally (if/when applicable). These are the items most people are concerned with. We will also perform a basic check on the drivetrain, which consist of a test drive to determine if the engine transmission and brakes seem to perform properly. We will repair what is necessary. The REST is up to you!! The tires need to be replaced. The tires do not ride very well. The tires are old. With a new set of tires this car would drive GREAT. When an appoitment is made to pick up your item, Karolina Koaches will have your item powered up so you can feel confident that the coach functions as described in this ebay ad. All that we require is a 48 hour notice so we can have your item ready for your arrival. If you fail to give us a 48 hour notice then we will NOT have adequate time to have your item powered up for your complete inspection. I do not think you would have any trouble although I can NOT guarantee anything. I now feel that I have described this car bad.
