Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2000 Ford F350 work truck with 71xxx miles. It is 2 wheel drive with an automatic transmission and the 5.4 liter V8 engine. It has a crew cab with XL trim and a short bed. This truck was purchased about three years ago and used primarily as a backup truck for my other landscape maintenance vehicles. In the 3 years I have owned it I have only put about 15,000 miles on it. It was purchased with a good amount of body damage (see pictures) but runs and drives good. It has served its purpose well but now I need another 4 wheel drive truck with all of the snow we have been getting so I am hoping this will make a good work truck for someone else. It has been maintained well and gets tuned up and checked periodically with my other trucks. The exteriors has dents and the paint job has some drips, one of the f350 emblems is missing on the drivers side. The tires have good tread left on them and the brakes are very strong. I have not changed the shocks or struts on the truck and I am not sure if they are original or not, but I would assume they are. On the interior, there is a tear in the back seat, and some cracking in the vinyl on the top of the front seat (see pictures). Considering the age of the truck, I think the interior is really good condition, which is a sign of how well the truck was taken care of. The shift indicator does not move, so you just have to know how to shift an automatic into drive or reverse. The button for the radio #1 preset is broken, but other than that the radio and dash works perfectly. The ac is nice and cold while the heat in the truck is just warm. This was never an issue as I use this truck mainly in the warm season, but the heater works just enough to be warm and not hot. The front passenger seatbelt jams frequently, I am not sure if the spring release is working properly but it is not a huge fix. The trailer wiring was redone when I bought the truck for an electronic brake controller and 7way plug but has not been used in at least 2 years so I can only assume it still works. The rear brake lines were replaced along with new spark plugs a few months back. I have tried to be as detailed as possible in describing this truck but if I left anything out feel free to ask any questions. Winner is to pick this up within a week of winning in Newark, DE. The truck is exactly as pictured so please take a close look at them when considering the condition of the body. This truck has been in no accidents according to Carfax when I bought it and has not been in any while I have owned it. Item is being relisted due to a no show buyer. I am no longer allowing bidders with zero feedback. I had a mechanic look at the truck and he said the heater core is fine but the issue may be with the thermostat (what transllates the button to turning up the heat). Apparently I should have noted that it blows strong but does not get that hot. I also have had a lot of questions about the body damage. This was not from an accident. This truck was used as a forestry truck by the state and was fleet maintained before I had it. The maintenance and emissions records are on the free eBay vehicle check and Carfax statements. The paint job was done by the dealer I bought it off of, and was done to make the bed match the cab. It had a utility body with lift gate before and the bed on it now came from another truck. The paint job was botched by the dealer (some drips) and considering the damage was not worth sanding and repainting.
