This auction is for a fine example of one of BMWs best vehicles ever. One of the lowest mileage E36 M3s you will find. A perfect inline 6 cylinder engine and a smooth five speed manual transmission pair up with what what Car and Driver called in 1997 the best handling car at any price (beating out a Ferrari, a Porsche, and more). Very good acceleration (mid 5 second 0-60), outstanding handling and exceptional fuel economy (EPA estimates 20 mpg combined - I get about 28 on the highway) make this a good daily driver that is also very fun and rewarding to drive. Since you are looking into this car, I assume you know all this already! It is Titanium Silver with Dove Gray leather interior. It has power Vader sport seats. This car has been tastefully upgraded with a H&R Coilover Suspension, Racing Dynamics Front Strut Tower Brace, Dinan Performance Software, Euro Clear Lenses, E46 Rear Lip Spoiler, Color matched Body Moldings, Illuminated Aluminum Shift Knob, Aluminum E-Brake Handle and Aluminum Pedals. I purchased this car from Enthusiast Auto Group in March 2009. Look them up, and you will see why I mentioned this. They only sell the best examples of pre-owned high performance BMWs. Purchased with 54k miles, I only put 16k in five years. This car was babied. Pre-emptive cooling system overhaul about a year ago at Zionsville Autosport. (the cooling system in e36 M3s is prone to fail between 60 and 80k miles, so I didn't want to take any chances.) Brand new battery. There is some wear on the wheels, a scratch on left front fender, small mark in driver door, scratch on left rear quarter; rear tires will need replacing within the year; valet key only; general wear and tear, but much less than average for a 1999 vehicle. I've tried to show every imperfection in my photos. There are no rattles or clicking sounds - this car is solid. The front seats are in very good condition. The rear seats look brand new. Cold weather package with two stage heated front seats. Heater works well, and the A/C is still icy cold. Pioneer aftermarket in dash CD player was put in about a year ago. It still has the factor disc changer in the trunk, but truth be told, I don't know if it works. Buyer will need to make $500 deposit within 24 hours of winning bid or choosing buy it now. When I purchased it from Enthusiast Auto Group, it was advertised as a non-smoker. The ash trays show no evidence, and the lighter appears never to have been used.
