1951 Chevy 3100 Short Bed PickupYou are looking at a 1951 Chevy 3100 Short bed pick-up. This is pretty much an all original vehicle. It has the inline 6 cylinder motor with a 3 speed column-shift transmission. This truck is in great shape for a truck that has never been restored. Both the engine and transmission are in good working order. It runs and shifts smooth. Clutch is good. Very easy to drive around town. Brakes work as they should. Most of the gauges work but the speedometer is not hooked up. It has rally wheels and has been converted to a 12 volt system. The body is in very good condition for a "survivor" truck. Minimal patching would be needed to restore this truck. All the fenders, doors etc line up great. Frame is solid. It has a plywood bed floor but the cross supports are present. It has been owned and driven regularly by the same owner for the past 15 years. This truck would make a great candidate for a full restoration, hot rod or just drive as it is. This truck looks even better in person than the pictures show. We have had several of these trucks over the years and this is one of the most solid, original trucks we have seen. As you can see we have not done any "patchwork" or hiding of defects. We want you to see this truck for what it truly is.
