This vehicle has a brand new cylinder head, including valves, springs, lifters, cams, seals, etc. The head comes with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. Also replaced was water pump, spark plugs, thermostat, all gaskets and belts. All parts replaced were TOYOTA GENUINE PARTS! all work was done by a TOYOTA MASTER TECH!. I have driven this vehicle approx. 250 miles since work was completed and I can tell you that it runs and drives as new. It has been dealer serviced since new and the only reason why the cylinder head was replaced was due to a crack that comes with age and mileage. Don't let the 259k mileage scare you, everything from steering rack to ignition has been replaced. This 4runner looks like it has less 59k and drives like new. The body is in excellent condition (for the age), and the original paint is very nice other than the clear coat peeling off of the roof. It has been in southern California since new, so there is absolutely NO rust. The Cooper tires are brand new. Everything is working well and there are NO known issues. It drives as new. The interior is in excellent condition (for the age), with NO rips, tears or stains. There has been a steering wheel cover and dash cover on since new. This vehicle was owned by a non-smoker. The only items needing attention are: passenger side power door lock is in-op, the antenna mast is stuck, the power motor works (makes noise), but the antenna will not raise nor go down.
