I am offering my 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS Coupe,here,on eBay for Auction.It DOES NOT RUN,AND,THERE IS NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION PRESENT! Car will need Both FRONT and REAR FLOOR PANS,TRUNK PAN,Crossmember,Driveshaft,Engine,,Radiator,some body work,Carpetting,Windshield,and minor trim to make it into a FUNCTIONAL CAR! This car is too much of a project for the limited space and time I have to devote to this hobby.I used to have 1/4 of a former Chevrolet Dealership I leased,but,the owner needed the space I leased for other purposes,and,I back-burnered this car for past 3 years.I can no longer keep paying to rent a garage to house it,as time keeps marching forward! So,I thought to list it,to find someone else who wants to give this project some of their time.I can include a really nice Aluminum Powerglide(V8,with Cooling Lines,and converter).Tranny has Cherry Red Fluid,and,is a working unit.I will also let it go,rolling on a really clean set of (4) 15"x7"(I think) Cragar SST's,that only need Center Caps.This car was acquired from Grand Haven,Michigan,a few years ago,last titled in Michigan on 8/12/1987! It does have quite a few nice options,such as Front and Rear Bumper Guards,Super Clean,No Cracks Red Dashpad,MINT Red Steering Wheel without cracks!(I've seen these go for up to $800!),Red SS Door Panels only need new Carpet,no Warpage!(Repros are $600/pr.!),Also,this car may have originally been a Big Block Car! It has Rally Gauges in Left Pod(Mostly seen on Big Block Cars with 396/409!),and,has a Dash Mounted Vacuum Gauge(Was probably an Automatic Car).It presently has Clutch Pedals installed,as I got it.I have a really nice 4 Speed Console(Only needs new Carpet,rear Lens),has Console Mounted Clock,and Console is NOT CRACKED!(I've seen nice consoles going for up to $500!).I WILL NOT PART IT OUT,SO,DON'T ASK!Any Questions? Will be posting additional pics in next few days!On Feb-28-14 at 09:48:36 PST, seller added the following information: To answer many bidder's questions,this car DOES have it's Red Interior,Correct SS Bucket Seats and Rear Seats,SS Door Panels,all in good shape,needing only Carpet on lower Door Panels,and,as far as seats go,they're complete,with tracks,but,are 49 years old,faded/dirty,best benefitting from new upholstery,and,a chrome piece is MISSING from top of Left Bucket Seat.Dashpad is very nice,and,without any cracks! Steering Wheel is also without any cracks! There are Rally Gauges in Left Pod,and,there is a factory AM Radio,and a dash mounted Vacuum Gauge.I have manual Pedals in car,and a 4 Speed Console in above average,non-cracked condition! It has a Clock,and Upper Plate,and Door.Needs carpeting,and rear lens,as do most.Honestly,I do believe this SS was possibly a 396/409 Automatic car,due to Rally Gauges and Vacuum Gauge.Most manual cars have Tachometer in dash,instead.Also,this car has Power Steering and Power Brakes with the Original Screw Top Master Cylinder! This is the first and only 1 I've ever seen! This car has no accident damage,but,does need a fair amount of Body Work to make it back to the road.There is NO driveshaft,No Exhaust,Needs a Windshield,a few minor pieces of trim,weatherstripping,emblems,carpet,headliner,and,a Motor and Tranny!
