Please read over the terms and conditions of this listing carefully 3 times before bidding. Bid to win, I expect payment upon pickup in cash or certified check. I have poured countless hours and dollars into it. I will describe it to the best of my abilities. I am a fanatic about maintenance and do everything ahead of time so I am not on the side of the road. I know how a diesel is to be treated. This truck came from northern Michigan as a plow truck for a personal 1-single property. It came without a plow or plow package installed. It was in Michigan from May of 2012-November of 2013 when I bought it. If you look at CARFAX and as the prev owner states, it was a Georgia truck from 2003-2012 When I bought it the transmission was shuttle shifting from 1-2. It couldn't decide if it wanted to be in 1st or 2nd gear in the transmission. I installed a new borg warner (google it) shift solenoid and upgraded pressure transducer ($100+ receipt comes with truck), it still wouldn't shift properly. I brought it to a local profession- Smiar's (Smiar's Transmission LLC, North Washington Street, Clifford, IN) He told me it needed a rebuild. I bought a rebuilt transmission with 20k since rebuild ($900, w/ warranty when I purchased, have receipt). I purchased a low (120k) miles transfer case to go along with the rebuilt transmission and bought a $700 REVMAX (Have receipt) torque converter (stage 3.5, designed for up to 850ft/lbs of torque, billet single disc 500RPM drop stall speed, billet piston) and installed them. I put in the new shift solenoids and and obviously new tranny fluid and filter (synth). I bought a plow from a friend ($2200). first week of plowing the plow mount ripped from the plow subframe. I paid David's Welding of Columbus indiana $860 to install new plow roll pins- reweld brackets on both sides and replace every single bolt holding the poly plow to the frame with HD hardware. The plow plow is as wide as the mirrors and works fantastically. The heavy truck will push 12+inches of snow with easy. The plow has a new motor. Potentially included in the auction is a 100% functioning 4.4cu ft I believe (google it) salt spreader and controller. Also potentially included is a second (spare) spreader same volume, electric motor on 2nd one needs rebuilt. (IF THE FINAL PRICE OF THE AUCTION GOES FOR $12,000,00; the plow and all snow package components are included!) I installed $300 of the highest cold cranking amp batteries sold at the local Walmart. They are 850cca They have the receipt taped to them (If there is a battery issue w/in 36 months- bring it to Walmart-they will test any battery and replace it for 36 months zero questions asked). I installed new serpentine belt, idler, tensioner and coolant. $250 worth of parts that weekend last month. I bought a $40 dash pad cover- does the job. There is a tear on the driver's seat (small) and the other seats are good. The driver's electric control dealy (thing with lock/unlock, roll up and down all windows, etc) is poorly glued back on. Everything functions. There is a dent on pass fender, small dent on rear top of cab, and a dent in driver's rocker. The bed has scrapes from brush that could be buffed out and couple small dents. There is zero zero zero zero rust THROUGH anywhere on the exterior of the truck. There are 2.5"x4" rust spots on the fenders (front) on both sides. That is the only surface rust, it is really minor, there's a video of remote start and a cold start one morning. It gets 14-19 mpg depending on how you drive and where your driving/ hwy/city/a lot of 4wd/ if your plowing a lot. the tires are 40% and everything that I can think of works 100%- heated mirrors, cruise, AC, heat, all windows, CD player, speakers window lock, auto locks, remote start, block heater, defrost, thermometer, compass, fuel economy/ MPG gauge, miles till empty meter, lumbar support electric controls for driver's seat, tailgate, new tail lights ($260) etc etc. Exhaust is straight piped and pretty noisy... not too loud just beautiful Cummins rumble. You can remote start it from inside your house or around 80 yards away and take a shower in morning while your truck warms up. I use the remote start option 5-6 times a day in the winter. IT IS BEAST :) It is better for your motor (thins oil- better lubricates her) and the heat is warm when you get in. Turbo spools up great, transmission's wear bands have recently been adjusted by Pat Smiar's shop couple weeks ago, Transmission's torque converter's lower stall speed means the trans will shift earlier than you are used to. This keeps the motor operating in the torque band, and at maximum torque (1100-1800 RPM) which reducing fuel consumption, transmission wear, transmission temperature and is highly desirable for plow trucks. This truck has been very well looked after and it shows. FROM early 2013: PO states: ALL new ball joints, brake pads, tie rod ends, 2 calipers, tires, starter, alternator, water pump, remote start system installed, keyless entry (2 remotes, plus 3rd spare key), NEW FRONT DRIVESHAFT, seat covers. PO did those items not me. LIST OF WHAT I HAVE DONE in the past couple months: PLOW ITemS: $2200 9.5ft poly meyer plow with frame, controller $500 4.4cu ft Meyer salt spreaders- two, with controller for 1, 1 backup needing rebuilt motor, one works perfect $860 rebuilt entire plow frame, all new welds, swivel pins, bolts, HD hardware, work done at David's Welding Co. in Columbus,IN have receipt $90 new snowplow motor $60 new plow seals and fluid inside Truck items: $150 transmission transducer and shift solenoid (borg warner valve) $900 rebuilt (20k since rebuild transmission)- had 30 day warranty, its expired now.. have receipt $400 120k miles Tcase $700 RevMax stage 3.5 billet single disc torque conv good for 850ft/lbs of torque $150 synth trans fluid and filter/gasket $300 2 new batterys $250 tensioner, idler, serp belt $260 taillights- old ones cracked ALL this IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS ALONE!!! Plain and simple, and speaking with the insurance company my plow business is put out of business via insurance required for ANYONE except me to drive the truck. I have a skid steer for sale (4500$, not included in auction, case 1740 diesel) also for sale cause of insurance. I am done messing with it. I have a day job and don't need to mess with pushing snow. My loss, your gain, push some serious snow and pay for half of the truck back before April just pushing snow and spreading salt with 2-3 contracts. ALSO, read below carefully and ask if you have questions! The truck is for sale at $10,250 reserve. If I get $12,000 you get the Meyer snow plow, plow mount, new plow electric motor, spare original needing rebuilt electric plow motor, 2 meyer salt spreaders, 4.4cu ft, (one works 100%, one spare hopper/frame/poly lid/electric motor needs rebuilt), spare needing rebuilt transmission and original functioning fine Transfer case (234k miles, came installed in truck when I bought it). ASK ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE INCLUSION OF THE PLOW AND SPREADERS IF YOU ARE CONFUSED. IF THE AUCTION ENDS FOR LESS THAN $12,000 I keep plow and spreaders. If the auction sells for MORE THAN $12,000 you get awesome huge poly plow and 2 spreaders n controllers for both, mounts, spare mounts, many many many spare parts If you have any questions feel free to ask. Email me for my phone #, for sale locally I reserve the right the end the auction early, please read over all terms and conditions extremely carefully. Test drives welcomes. For sale as-is where is- NO WARRANTIES implied or expressed. I have nothing to hide and I think you can tell I am meticulous and describe everything to the very best of my abilities. AGAIN, ANY QUESTIONS, JUST ASK!!!!! GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE!!!! pushed snow with this truck 3 times this week already- we are supposed to get snow on Saturday too!!! Last thing- If the truck doesn't meet the price in order to be sold with the plow, I WILL NEED A FEW DAYS TO REMOVE THE PLOW PACKAGE from the truck. If it doesn't meet the price to include the plow package ($12k)- I will need 4 days to remove the plow package. If you have any questions on this, just ask.
