Please read the entire description carefully before bidding . I am relisting because of non-paying bidder. It might be possible to take the car for about 100~200 miles with close watch of the coolant level but I would not recommend long distance drives due to coolant leaking. For long distance shipping the car is required. Buyer must arrange pick up or shipping and I will assist. 2003 saab 9-5 aero sedan 240K miles black No reserve I drive this car daily 14 miles but recently I discovered that the coolant was leaking. It still runs and drives well but I have to top off coolant nearly everyday because the leaking worsened. Every morning I can see a little puddle on the passanger side of the car. Need to be repaired. A lot of work had been serviced including New radiator New brake master New sup belt New battery Catalytic converter Slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads Transmission fluid changed each year(transmission shift smoothly) New turbo and head gasket, water pump, thermostat( 3 years ago) Mobil 1 full synthetic 5w30 every 4k miles. I am sure there are more. Due to the coolant leaking and high mileage I am listing this car for very low price like a part car price with no reserve. It still runs and drives without warning lights but keep in mind that it needs repair. A: Hello Every morning I can see a little puddle under engine on the passanger side. In summer, there is no puddle and looks ok but strange thing is there is one in the winter. I do not think that the hose is the issue and when I looked with flash light it seems the leaking is coming from under the passanger side of the engine. Last summer I replaced the radiator and my mechenic found no sign of coolant leaking but it turns out it was leaking then too. This is just a guess but it might be the water pump area but water pump was replaced three years ago so I am not sure. A: Hello It maybe possible but I would not recommend it. Last month, I took the car out for about 160 miles, during which I had to check the coolant level several times and topped off. I think it might be possible to take the car for about 100~200 miles but I would not recommend long distance drives. For the paint condition, I would give it 6~7 out of 10. This car is fast and has relatively low height so there are a lot of road chips on the hood. As you can see in the pictures, there are no dents but there are a few small marks and the paint on the door handles are rubbed off. Please see the video in the link in the description. Do not expect new condition. This is 11 years old car. As I know there is no problem with the electroincs except remote entry and power mirrors switch which is probably fuse or connection issues becasue I found that it does not work after mechanic fixed the driver side window. All the other electronics function properly including moon roof, front and back heating seat, heater/AC, all 4 power windows, zenon headlights and radio work fine. I am selling this car for cheap price because I have no parking space left so this is a good chance for anyone to take. Do you use the A/C on LOW in the summer and there is still no leaking? Is it near the window wiper area back of the engine?...in other words, if you look at where the windshield wiper begins dead center on the windshield, and you were to look underneath the car, is that where you would find the leaking radiator fluid? When doing the oil changes, have you seen any radiator fluid mixed in with the oil for a more milky look? Have you had the engine compression tested or can you have this done? Thanks a lot!!!Feb-04-14 A: Hello As I know it, the leak is located directly below the circle in the picture because I saw the puddle underneath the location. Please see the last picture in my listing. It seems that you are indicating the leak around the windshield area back of the engine so I think you are saying the coolant bypass valve but the valve was replaced a few months ago. When I change the engine oil, I do not see any radiator fluid mixed in with the oil. No milky looks. I change the oil myself. In the summer, I think the leaking was still present but it was such a small amount that there was no puddle. I topped off the coolant about once a month. The leaking has been getting worse so I had to top off every day. I have never had the engine compression tested and I do not have a way to test it. Thank you
