1998 Goldwing 1500 se in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition considering the age. My wing is a solid 9 using a scale of 1 to 10.The cosmetics: paint and all plastics are in near perfect condition with no fading or peeling, only about 3 minor nicks can be found around the bike. All of the chrome shows well and shines but shows minor oxidation due to age ( no rust just not as shiny as a new piece) The seat and upulstery are original and in excellent condition no tears, stitching in great shape, and coloring still great. The dash area and all the plastics in this area are excellent, with the exception of the radio bezel the clear protective film is peeling up a bit. also the dust cover on the left front speaker peeling off, this is located behind the plastic speaker cover. The mechanicals: The wing runs, drives, shifts, like it's supposed to. Engine is strong and purrs nice and smooth, trans and clutch are nice and smooth and all gears are easy to find.The front brake works excellent but the rear feels spongy and could use some bleeding. This is a problem on the 1500 google it. Rear brake still works just not as high and tight as it should be. General: Current tags till 10/14 new inspection till 1/15 Tires are about 70% all electrical works on this bike 100% (Cruise control button is a little sticky, on a trip with use this gets better) bike gets about 46mpg newer agm battery new taller windshield, stock one also included in good shape. all maint. kept up with, I am the second owner, bike has always been garage kept. I just can not find the time to take long trips anymore, I still ride about 80 miles every other week to keep he mechanically inshape. Any questions I will be happy to answer.
