Vehicle Detail

1964 T20SM MOUNTAIN CUB 5216 miles Clear actual mileage title in hand 10hp @ 6,000rpm (14.5hp @ 6,500rpm/Sports-Mountain Cub) Top speed: 60/70mph Engine: 199cc air-cooled OHV single This is a garage find in Arizona - I've included a few of the "before" pictures. We put new tires, a new chain, cleaned the carbs, seat was re-covered, new grips, new rubber Triumph tank pads. The bike kicks over and runs great. There are a few dings in the tank (that the body guy was suppose to pop out before paint). The original color we believe was Kingfisher Blue and Silver and we tried to get close to that. Overall we didn't have to do too much on this bike just clean it up. I consider this bike to be in above average condition and the integrity of the original bike still intact plus I have a title so you do not have to deal with getting a bonded title. View a video using this link to YouTube: http://youtu.be/O-p4flAgIOo Taken from Triumph Motorcycle in America book: This bike combined the best of the sports and trials cub and was made between 1964 and 1967. Cycle World tested this bike in 1964 and declared it the trail bike they'd been asking for, "a real motorcycle, slightly undersized, properly equipped and geared". The Cub handled easily, steered quickly, and was a downright comfortable ride in rough terrain. The wide-ratio gearbox was a thoughtful installation for normal trail riding. The many advantages of the Mountain Cub were well worth the price (about $650) when compared with smaller, less expensive trail bikes.
