After many years I am selling my 1986 Suzuki Samurai. I have put tons of work into this and it is is great mechanical shape and interior cosmetic shape. Exterior cosmetics leave something to be desired. Major Modifications/Maintenance 1.6l 16v suzuki sidekick motor 1993. Leaks a little but don't even have to add oil between changes. 90K on it. Starts below 0, runs great. No weird engine noises. 24Mpg harness done by Zuks offroad. Has a new timing belt and pulley ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​235 75/15 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracks. 2 Years old. Tons of tread left handle great in the snow. 4 piece removable top. Tinted windows. New hardware and tension straps. Cost about 300$ less than a year ago Rebuild Transmission Bought of ebay. Bearings only not syncros. Shifts fine. Front knuckle Rebuild 2 years ago Front Lock-rite Locker 110$ not heavily used Zuks Offroad Front Bumper 260 without powder coating Ebay Steel Rear Bumper w/class iii receiver. Will tow a 1500lb trailer no problem. Was about 180 Not powder coated at the time. Autometer Volt and Water Temp Gauges Herculiner Bedliner. 80$ Plus tons of work New Carpet Fitted. Less than 6 months old. It needs snaps installed is the only thing. The original snaps where removed for the bed liner. Will Cost about 25$ and some time. This is a good carpet set not a cheap one. It is just set in at the moment. New Master Cylinder May 2013. Abs Rear Panels June 2013 62$ New Passenger Regulator, New Window Cranks, Drivers Side regulator needs Replaced. Have a New crank for it. Old Man Emu Heavy Duty Model Suspension lift. Installed By previous owner. 5 Years ago. Needs New Rear shocks. New Shackles Up Front. With Rubber Bushings New Poly bushings in the rear. Last Summer. Replaced Radiator 3 years ago. 2" Exhaust Dodge Neon Seats Stereo CD player, amp, Sony xplod Speakers. New Antenna. Sounds Great. Budget System for a convertible. Replaced more cables, hoses, wires than I can count. Scratch Resistant Poly Windshield. Shows some wear, but still has life in it. 3 years old. Zuks offroad Bra windshield brace, Light and mirror mount. IPF H4 Headlights. E-Code. Super Bright better than most new American cars with DOT headlights. Rear locking storage compartment Hi lift jack And more than I can remember Things you may want to fix. Nothing urgent. Could Use new brake rotors up front. Custom wiring in the engine compartment needs cleaned up to look pretty. Nothing to do with the engine harness as that was done professionally. Capet Studs Rear Shocks Rear Seal in transfer Case needs replaced. Would be a great idea to preserve this freshly rebuild tcase 1 year ago. It leaks because the bad u joint on the output shaft loosened the drive flange. Every u joint has been replaced. Aluminum side panels poorly installed. These are the not preb-ent ones. Buy some pre-bent and shaped ones. It will help with the looks. It took a lot of screws and muscle to put these ones on. NOT EASY like advertised. Exterior cosmetics. Not rust holes, has surface rust. Needs to be taken totally apart, stripped and painted while in pieces. Dent in the drivers rocker panel from 4x4 trails. too bad. No holes in the rockers which is very rare. Chipping paint. Hood was not closed properly and blew open one day. Has dents Closes fine. Needs Replaced. Slight wobble between 50-55.
