Vehicle Detail

PLEASE BE ADVISED: THE BIKE IN THE AUCTION IS A "MID FOOT PEG" MODEL AND IS NOT THE FRONT FOOT PEG MODEL IN THE PICTURES; OTHERWISE IT IS ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL!THE FRONT FOOT PEG MODEL HAS BEEN SOLD; SORRY!WE MAY ALSO SELL ANOTHER BONANZA BC 1410 ; THE MODEL WITH THE ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBARS AND FIBERGLASS SEAT (SAME UNBELIEVABLE BLUE METAL FLAKE POWDERCOAT) THAT IS ALSO RESTORED TO PERFECTION.CHECK OUT OUR FEEDBACK; WE HAVE SOLD 10 RESTORED TACO AND BONANZA MINIBIKES SINCE JUNE 2013; THESE ARE THE LAST BIKES THAT WE HAVE FOR SALE; WHEN THEY ARE GONE THEY ARE GONE. IF YOU ARE TEMPTED TO CONTACT US WITH RIDICULOUS LOW BALL OFFERS; PLEASE RESIST THE URGE TO LOOK FOOLISH!WE KNOW THAT THE QUALITY OF OUR FULLY RESTORED BIKES COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED FOR THE PRICE THAT WE ARE ASKING FOR THEM! This is a rare, Restored Bonanza BC1200/1300 mini bike minibike. This Bonanza BC1200/1300 was carefully restored by mini bike and custom culture guru; Evil Ed in 2013. Every effort was made to restore this bike to original condition; you will be hard pressed to find a better example of this classic mini bike. Look carefully at the pictures; if you know anything about mini bike restoration; you will see that unlike others that claim” full restoration” we actually deliver as near to a perfect “period correct” bike as is possible. The original frame, swing arm and forks were media blasted and given a special formulation of metal flake blue power coat. This color does NOT match the original “metallic light blue” color which is sometimes called Nassau or Lemans blue. As you can see in the pictures; the final shade is darker than the original color. The appearance is true metal flake although the size of the individual bright chrome like flakes are much smaller that “heavy metal flake”. When the frame is seen in the sunlight; the effect of the smaller metal flakes is simply “WOW!” The motor is a late model, low run time 5HP Tecumseh HS50 engine block that has been fitted with period correct recoil, gas tank, air cleaner, exhaust and carburetor. This engine has the modern pointless ignition. The carburetor has been soda blasted and rebuilt or is new old stock. All engine components were stripped to bare metal; then painted with multiple coats of engine enamel primer and finish color. New reproduction period correct decals were then applied. The motor starts easily, does not leak or smoke and carries a 230lb adult at about 35 mph max speed. We’ve even added a petcock to the fuel line under the fuel tank so that the fuel can be shut off to keep gas from sitting it the carb and gumming it up over time. The combination of tall tires, forward handlebar and foot peg position makes these bikes a real pleasure for larger folks to ride. This is also a “front foot peg” model; which is much more comfortable for larger riders than the “mid foot peg” model” Front shock/ fork lowers: original restored Bonanza; lower fork legs were media and blasted triple chrome plated, new springs. New reproduction rubber fork boots. Rear shocks: original restored Bonanza; Shocks were media blasted and triple chrome plated, new springs. Front and Rear Fenders: original restored Bonanza; media blasted and triple chrome plated. Front and Rear Tires: original new old stock General “Jumbo” 5.30 - 4.50 X 6. Original restored aluminum cast alloy “Go Power” wheels: These were media blasted, then sprayed with multiple coats of clear engine enamel. Clutch cover is reproduction Bonanza style exactly like the original; but made with heavier material and is triple chrome plated rather than " two stage "flash" chrome plated as was done on the originals. Seat, throttle assembly, clutch, jack shaft, chain, fork neck bushings, bearings, spacers, sprockets, and axles: new reproduction. Kickstand: original restored Bonanza replated with bright zinc Original restored Bonanza: Chrome powder coat Original restored Tecumseh/ Taylor type exhaust; triple chrome plated Original restored Tecumseh plastic gas tank with new cap Brake lever: original new old stock Cherry. Rear brake plate assembly: original new old stock Bendix with new brake pads Rear sprocket and brake drum: new reproduction All that is included in this auction is what is shown in the pictures, no returns, local pick up in Chatsworth, CA available. Will ship in 2-3 large boxes. The underside of the seat has been signed by Evil Ed.
