Very nice California 1971 El Camino, rust free, base model with some up grades. Newer 2 stage paint, base and clear coat looks good from 5 feet. Not a show car but a car you can drive every day, very reliable, I only work 10 hours a week and put maybe 15 miles a week on the car. 350 cu. in. with a small cam. sounds really good. Edelbrock manifold with 650 Edelbrock carb just rebuilt two week ago. new headers with new turbo exhaust, rebuilt 350 trans, professionally installed TCI shift kit, has less that 1000 miles on it, new drive shaft hooking up to a 1970 Buick GS rear end with 2:70 gears, cruises on the freeway at 70 mph at 2000 rpm. Newer power brake booster and master cylinder, new power steering, new power steering pump, rebuilt power steering box and lines, new air shocks in rear, radiator boiled out (runs cool all the time), new alternator (last week), all new front and rear lenses, all headlights, parking lights, tail lights and stop lights work, some dash lights do not work. Updated cd radio with hook ups for phone etc. I just removed the wheel well and heater motor to check motor. the motor and fan work perfectly but having trouble with switch on dash to turn on. I pulled the dash pad and checked power to switch and it is ok but not sure how to fix., has added gages that work great, new tach, new seat cover with one tiny tear that is not even noticeable, new wiring to the HEI distributor, small air horn, new gas tank but fuel gauge not reading right, trying to sort that out now. new battery, all new synthetic blend oil in motor and rear end, new trans fluid, spray in bed liner, new windshield, all the mechanisms for rolling up windows, wind wing windows and locking systems went through and work as good as new, under carriage cleaned and painted, new door panels and headliner, sound proofing to cab, new front cross drilled rotors and brakes, new drum brakes in the rear, new motor mounts, 18" rear and 17" front Corvette wheels powder coated black, chrome had been blacked out, much more also, this is not a show car, it looks good, runs really good a few small chips from daily use, and rides nice.
