1982 Chevrolet corvette, 64,000 miles, 350 crossfire injection engine, auto trans w/od, T-tops, power options include seat, windows, locks and mirrors , Car was repainted 4 yrs ago Original 350 engine professionally rebuilt 1500 miles ago, original automatic transmission was rebuilt as well. New suspension including all bushings and shocks were installed, new brakes , and B F Goodrich tires mounted on factory !5x8" wheels in excellent shape.Exhaust is fairly new as well. Car drives good,sounds good and handles very well. First off, the motor only had 62,000 miles on it before the complete rebuild. The 350 block was bored .030 over then I had a new crank, new rods, new forged pistons, along with all new crank and cam bearings. high volume oil pump along with block being hot tanked and new freeze plugs installed. Engine builder also installed a new cam (factory specs) because of the cross fire injection. Then the heads were redone with new seals and corvette heavy duty valve springs and new gaskets. Double roller timing set installed , crank sensor and new plugs, wires and motor mounts were installed. I did NOT paint any of the engine parts! ! I wanted the motor too still maintain its original look but did not spare any expense on the rebuild. I felt that painting everything would take away from its overall value. (per some corvette guys) that I had spoken too. I was told too not even repaint the air cleaner cover. I personally would have. I hope that this clears up any questions as far as the motor. Next was the interior questions, I posted a picture yesterday taken inside my garage because of nasty weather outside. IT has alot of glare. The seats are dark blue and in great condition with only a little fade on the bottom of the drivers seat barely noticeable, The picture makes the seat appear a different color. Not the case!! I put alot of time and money into this car and hope that if someone were looking for a good car too enjoy and NOT a project then this will make them a good, fun car to own and enjoy!! Hope that this answers more questions about my car. Car is being sold locally as well.
