Offered for auction is my 1990 BMW K1. This is the first year for this limited edition Super Sports tourer. This machine is finished in the signature Marrakesh Red with Yellow wheels and running gear combo (AKA Ketchup n’ Mustard), with the bold K1 graphics. Collectors have been quietly adding K1s to their stables for years, since it is one of the first low production number factory specials produced by BMW, and it predates the HP series of limited edition factory specials by over a decade. And true to the other BMW tradition of high price, when the K1 was first introduced for sale in 1989, the price was a staggering $13,000! This bike is a good rider quality machine, as reflected by the price. With many typical K1s selling in the $8k range, you’ll have lots of funds left over to do many things with this one - or just pocket the savings and go riding. This is a good running and riding bike. It has not gotten any attention since I purchased a Krauser MKM1000 last year, so it’s time to pass this one on to someone who will enjoy it every day. Please ask all questions before bidding, and have your finances lined up too. Overseas bids are no problem, however I cannot help with shipping quotes. Payment must be received within one week of auction end, and the bike must be picked up/shipped within one month of auction end.
