I've owned the car since 2007.. my original intent was to cut the floor out and tubb the car for super wide tires, however the floorboards are in perfect shape, so I think I should pass this along to someone who isn't as capable of welding/fabrication. I decided to skip cutting this car up and I'm cutting up my 75 242 instead. This car would make a great candidate for a rolling restoration. Includes two sets of SU carbs, which both need to be rebuilt, The car ran on the original set of carbs for the first 3-4 years then gummed excessively from sitting. The bad parts: Needs battery, fresh gas (new tank) and exhaust, yes it has rust(most of the rust is localized to the seams and door gaps) All of the rust in the car is surface exterior rust, the floors are in AWESOME SHAPE. The good part; The floor are MINT original, there is some repaired damage around the headlights, probably from rust, but it's complete and the interior is in passable shape to be original. lights, heater, wipers, even original AM radio works, I'm including lots of spare parts from my inventory in the final price depending on what you need I can include a package with a number of different engines I have.
