This car was purchased in 8-24-1969 at Doug Wiley Pontiac in Birmingham , Al. the car went to Pinckney, IL. until it was given to the original owners son who brought the car back south to Alabama to have it repainted. He decided to remove the ugly dark green vinyl roof. the car was repainted the original color and is in great condition. I purchased it 2 years ago and have maintained it properly. The car has no issues as far as mechanicals it drives and runs great and gets 16 miles to the gallon on the road. I have driven it to Crusin the Coast in Biloxi, Ms. It runs great on the highway and idles in traffic as it should. I would really like for you to come and look at the car and take it for a drive if you can or if you have a mechanic in the area he is welcome to come and make an professional evaluation of this GTO .
