1977 Buick Electra 225. Has the 6.6L Oldsmobile 403 engine, & an aftermarket Holley Carb. The engine is strong and it starts right up, and drives excellently. New transmission gasket & filter last month. Tires are in excellent condition - purchased new in 2010 and hardly driven on. New Die Hard battery (last year). Smooth driving - the suspension is in excellent shape, as are the brakes. The arm rest on the drivers side is in bad shape, but still functions (some of the plastics haven't held up so well). Both rear doors no longer open. It maybe a problem with the electronic door locks. All electrics work except for the a/c (compressor was removed). Plus the ignition switch (where you put the key in) is broken, so we've created a by-pass. Essentially, the starting mechanism that normally resides in the steering column is now outside the steering column and you have to start it by pulling on a metal piece. it is not pretty but it works. The car does not leak oil, or any other fluids. Some extra parts included, such as belts, head lights, and a repair manual. Owner's manual is in the glove box. Very little rust, as the car spent all of its life in the deserts of New Mexico until 2011. Low miles for its age (114K). Painted by the artist Jo Romas. Please email me with any specific questions. Mostly of the interior. As you can see, the seats are in great shape with the arm rests intact (the electric motor to move the seat functions, too). Note the damage to the arm rests, though. Note also the starting mechanism under the dash. This works fine for now, but may need to be replaced soon, unless you do not mind starting it like that. After market stereo works, but only one speaker is functioning, and the cd that is in it won't eject. So the winning bidder get an R.E.M. cd for free ;). All tires match (size, brand, time of purchase, etc.), and have matching hub-caps. Plenty of tread (90%+) Spare is in the trunk. Holley Carb is synched nicely with the engine. Die Hard is fully charged, although I think the alternator belt is a little loose (it doesn't squeal or anything, but it may need tightening soon).
