Completed at the Zuffenhausen Porsche factory on the 16th day of December, 1957, this US-model Speedster is finished in a very attractive Irory and fitted with black interior, USA bumpers, and sealed beam headlights. In addition the vehicle includes full and partial tonneau, side curtains, chromed Porsche wheels, tool roll, plus period correct Blaupunkt radio, Bosch fog lamps and a gorgeous Nardi wood steering wheel with aluminum polished spokes. Offered here is a chance to purchase a very good to excellent example of Porsche's Speedster. 84244 is accompanied by its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a copy of original Kardex. A wonderful example throughout, this Speedster has only traveled 3,500 miles since it restoration about 12-years ago. It was originally fitted with engine #68626 but is now fitted with a period correct engine #67764. A great car to drive and enjoy, not a trailer queen. Invited to the 2011 Santa Fe Concorso.
