Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. What you see here is an all original 1953 Studebaker Land Cruiser. This car has 51885 original miles and has been owned by a friend of mine since early 70's. It has not been registered since 1976. It has been stored in a garage until last week when I pulled it out and cleaned it up a little for him. This car belonged to a friend of his and has been passed down to his friends son from whom he bought the car. This car was purchased in Silver City, NM in 1953 and has lived in NM its whole life. Both the seats and the door panels are in need of upholstery. The seats are still after 60 years solid and original. The paint is original as well. The body is straight with minor dents and scratches here and there. For 60 years outstanding! There is a very small amount of rust on driver side rear door. All chrome and stainless is in fair condition. Nothing broken. Can all be either polished or re chromed. I have removed the gas tank. Sat with fuel in it since 1976. I managed to unplug fuel lines and inlet, however the tank needs to be hot tanked. Engine runs. I started it on an electric fuel pump. 6V positive ground system. As I said all original. There is a small crack in passenger side front window. Only damage to glass. The lights work. This car is prime candidate for a restoration.
