When I purchased this Impala Sport Coupe in 2005 it was freshly painted, had new tires and wheels, new exhaust and the original 283 engine had just undergone a rebuild. I have since added front disc brakes, redone the interior and trunk, installed new engine cooling system, wiper motor, ignition module and completed under-hood detailing. Underneath the car rides on new coil springs, control arm bushings and shocks. The U-joints, drive shaft carrier baring, idler arm and gas tank have been replaced as well. The transmission is a later model aluminum 2-speed PG which operates as it should. That’s the good stuff, here’s the rest. The radio and clock don’t work and there is no heater core, the paint is nice but not perfect. For the most part, all glass and chrome on the bumpers are original as are the interior door panels and headliner. The right rear passenger foot well has a patch to repair rust damage and a trained eye can detect where a collision may have occurred during this Chevy’s life. Don’t get me wrong, this car drives and presents very well and has many awards from local car shows. I have put approximately 5,000 trouble free miles on it in 8 years. We all know pictures can be deceiving, but if you come see this car I believe you’ll like it. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly cooperate.
