1959 Impala 4 door sedan. 235 straight 6 engine. Power steering, manual brakes, PowerGlide transmission. Car shows 59,200 miles on odometer but engine was rebuilt by previous owner. New basecoat/clearcoat paint, new Coker wide whitewall tires, new carpet, new seats. Dash and headliner excellent. Engine compartment detailed, trunk is clean. The car drives great. There are only 2 things that the car could use. The starter has a "dead spot" and maybe 1 out of 10 times when you go to start the car the starter will grind and not engage. Just turning the key from start to off and then back to start a few times will engage the starter, so I have not replaced it. I thought it was the solenoid and replaced it but it did not fix the problem, definitely the starter. The second thing is that some of the door panels on the bottoms are worn and bulging. If I keep the car I will eventually replace them. Still very presentable as it is as you can see from the pics. This is a great show quality 59 Impala ready to go!
