Low reserve. If it doesnt sell this time around i will make a cafe racer. 1980 Honda CX500 custom original and complete motorcycle. Clean Michigan title. There hasn't been an original cx500 on ebay in over a month. So this is a chance to get a 100% unmolested un-cafed bike. The cx500 are one of the hottest item in the cafe world right now. I build cafe racers out of my garage/shop, and this is a fine specimen to be transformed into a cafe donor. It is complete from the factory, there is absolutely nothing missing. The bike starts, runs, stops and idles as it should. I have cleaned the carbs, one of the main jets was plugged. The engine is in great condition, there is minimal surface rust on the bike for its age. The tank has no rust on the inside. From what i can tell the tank and covers have been professionally painted.The front brake is sticking a little bit. Needs proper cleaning-if i get the time or by winners request i will clean it up. There is one small paint chip on the tank-otherwise the tank is very clean-no dings or scratches. The side covers have a couple of small chips and scratches. All the lights and blinkers work. Chrome is very nice as well. The headers have some surface rust. There are no holes and the exhaust muffler have no rust at all. The bike has 25000 original miles. One owner. The bike has never been in an accident, it has no road rash of any kind. I hope this bike finds a home, because i will not transform it into a cafe racer. Its too nice to go that route.
