I purchased this car as an unfinished project. The last owner dismantled it and lost interest. This has been a local car it's whole life an was only used as a summer toy. I assume the mileage to be 135,795. It was put in storage in 2001 with a bad clutch. When I purchased it, it still had all the factory paint on it. The body was stripped to bare metal, etch primed, blocked, and Base/Clear with all Dupont products. Original B5 Blue with new White Pheonix Graghics stripe installed. The motor is a 1969 318 with 340 top end, Motor was freshend up shortly before the clutch went. It now has a new clutch and resurfaced fly wheel. Motor and trans. are sitting in it and needs to be plumbed and wired. 8 1/4 rear end. The interior is black with new carpet, dash cap, and speaker tray, Bucket seats from a newer car are sitting in it[original bench included] Needs a headliner and misc. The floors are all original and treated with POR 15, Trunk was also treated and painted B5. Under carage is great, Still has factory paint on rear frame rails and all original fuel and brake lines. This is a great father/son winter project. Or finish it and turn a profit. I just picked up another project and want to dedicate my time to it. It was an original standard shift car and is very correct. It has a build sheet from under the rear seat and every thing checks out. It has been around my area it's whole life and I have kept track of it for years. I have many pictures of it thru the restoration process but they are not digital so I could not post them.
