I am selling a silver 1982 Le Car three-door hatch. I've included several photos below; more are available here: http://imgur.com/a/wv58q#0I've owned this Le Car for about a year and have only driven it very sparingly during that time. It was garaged at my office for all of last winter, and I would like to find it a good home before the snow really hits this year. The car was purchased from a dealer in Indiana; records I got with it and through a Carfax check show that it was purchased new in Indiana and driven very little over the course of its life. Someone took very good care of this car.When I bought it, I drove it all the way home from Indiana to Michigan without incident. We discovered along the way that the fuel pump was weeping a bit, so I bought a new Federal-Mogul/Carter fuel pump for it and put it on. Haven't had any problems since. It starts right up and is very healthy. I've got both a Chilton and a Haynes manual that came with the car that I will include.The engine was rebuilt several years ago and the car also got a fresh coat of silver paint around that time. (They neglected to put the original Le Car rocker decals on it, as you can see.) The paint job was done reasonably well, but as the photos show there are some rust bubbles appearing on the front fenders. That said, the car is in very good condition for a Le Car of this vintage.The interior is in equally good shape. All the pieces and parts are there, the radio works, the seat adjustments work, and there aren't a lot of signs of wear. The speedometer/odometer do not function, but records show that the car doesn't have many more miles on it than are indicated.. Please let me know if you have any questions about the car.
