Vehicle Detail
1963 Nova 2 door. This project was started several years ago but other projects keep moving it back and now its time to let it go. The car has new front suspension/frame installed. The body was taken apart and prepped for paint, it is currently in primer. It has been stored in a garage in California ever since. The only modification to the body is the addition of a fuel door so the gas cap is covered in the stock location. The car has a "Chassis Engineering" front suspension with the one piece frame rails tied to the rear uni-frame just in front of the leaf springs. It was set up for a small block and 700r combo but with this front suspension, almost any combo will work. An LS motor should fit very well. The owner has had all the trim professionally refinished including the grill. It even includes a set of new tail lights. The car comes with all the glass**, and several boxes of interior parts like the dash parts and door parts. **It may not have the windshield, the owner was planning on installing a new one and I have not looked over the glass to confirm if he kept the old one or not. It has an Ididit steering column installed that is tied to the new rack so the car has functional steering. The front end is set up with GM disc brakes. There is a Trans-Am rear end that is included with the larger disc brakes on it. He had planed to run the brakes from it on a Ford 9” He had intended on mini-tubbing the car. The car had virtually no rust when the project started so it is a very solid and straight body. The front fenders use the Alston brand inner fender fillers so you can use stock hood hinges and it had been set up to run hidden hinges with gas shocks as well. The owner never decided so both setups are included. There is a lot already done to this car, its a very solid starting point for someone with a motor and trans looking for a great home. With the car already disassembled you don't have to deal with any "unknown" problems. Finish the mods, paint it and assemble the car. He has about 17k in the car at this point so the low no-reserve auction price is very fair. You can make this a street car, pro touring or a drag car; at this point it could go any way you want very easily. The car comes with a clear title and has the original black plates included. It is currently under non-operational status. Email me for any additional information. I am handling the sale for the owner. It is being sold as-is Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
