We are re-listing this truck. Reserve is now lower. There will now be no new arm rests included as were in the original listing. The 1970 door panels are still included. I am selling this truck for my uncle. Vehicle is titled in his name. Clear Ohio title. Mileage exceeds mechanical limits. This truck is from North Carolina and has been recently restored. This was taken down to the frame - cab off. 1970 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed pickup. 2wd Automatic TH350 transmission (not original to truck), 307 ci v8 is the original engine (numbers match) and has a very small oil leak but no smoke and runs nice, 4bbl carb (factory style but not original), power brakes (not original), power steering (not original), tilt steering (not original). Front end has been upgraded to disc brakes and power steering. Emergency brake works. Fuel tank like new. Gauges all work. All lights work. Body is in nice shape. Cab corners and rockers have been professionally replaced with factory GM original panels. There was no other significant rust on the truck. Frame is very nice. Trailing arms very nice and bushings are tight. The ride is excellent with no rattles or squeaks. All rubber mounts are new. Door seals new. New window seals. Two new wing vents. New windshield and side glass. new rubber in the rear window. All trim, lenses, door handles, bumpers, grill, side chrome are new and much of it is GM new old stock. Doors latch properly. Tailgate latches properly. Tires not new and appear to be about 75%, mounted on factory GM rally wheels (not original to this truck). Interior is very nice. New GM dash pad, New molded carpet, Professionally rebuilt seat with new cover. New door handles and window cranks. 1972 door panels have been refinished. There is a pair of 1970 door panels but one has a slight tear and you are buying these with the truck. The steering wheel does not look to be correct for the truck but it is a new old stock GM wheel and is missing the horn button. Horn does work. A new old stock correct horn button is included in the sale but does not fit this wheel. The paint around the tailgate handle was scratched when installing the trim. It has been touched up (see pics). There was no rust around or above the windshield on this truck. We have discovered that the speedometer is not geared correctly after converting to automatic transmission. You will need to have the gears changed. I cannot possibly think of everything so please ask questions before bidding. Truck is for sale locally. You are responsible for picking up the truck. We cannot load or deliver this truck. Truck must be picked up within 7 days of receiving cleared payment. $500.00 deposit due via paypal within 24 hours of auction's end. Balance due within 7 days of auction's end.
